Ummed and ahhed about cost and weather (un)predictability, but as it's my son's B'Day at the w/e, we thought we would go along.

Love RIAT... brilliant weekend (if the weather is good!), if you're a keen photographer you'll always get some good shots out of it; here's one of my better pics from there (now a big blow-up on my study wall 🙂 )

A long lens helps, but you are pretty close to the action... I mostly use a 100-400mm lens, gives a good amount of range...
