Hi

Im in the Lakes having as lovely time as you can have without a bike ๐Ÿ™

The weather is "challenging" which is fine by me as I have brought my waterproofs
My GF however didnt.....

Mainly as she hasnt got any because shes not the outdoors type but the countryside here and the weather have convinced her the error of her ways

Where would be a good place to look to get some mid range type outdoors kit around Ambleside then please?
There seem to be masses of shops selling at list price and I naturally have a thing for a bargain!

Is there a CCC equivalent nearby??

Isn't every other shop in Ambleside an outdoor shop?

in Gaynors go downstairs as far as you can, or go in from the back road. There lies the discounted section. Some bargains can usually be found.

And if you like discounted Patagucci stuff, head for the mountain factor.

Also a Rock Bottom (Cotswold Outlet Shop) in Grasmere just up the road.
Often bargains to be had there.

Agree ๐Ÿ˜€

I bought a decent waterproof from the Keswick branch of the shop just between Biketreks & the carpark, (is it Mountain Warehouse?) when I packed everyone elses jackets except my own on a Lakes trip last October.
