I'm bamboozled so hopefull someone will be able to help. Trying to charge my phone tonight from a 12v source and it's not charging. Initially chimed and charged from 40-60% but now unwilling to charge at all.
I had exactly the same issue last week too. My cable works fine both at home on 230v and in the car, but plugged in on the boat and nothing.
I know the socket / USB thingy is fine as we can charge another android phone. Similarly using exactly the same set up as currently using has worked for the past 2years in my phone.
What can be causing this?
Boat battery not giving a full 12v? iPhones are pretty finnecky when if comes to charging sources.
Don't think it is a lack of power. Plugged into shore power so both batteries registering 14v. Issue with charging when both unplugged from shire power and also plugged in.
Everything points to the phone itself.
Hard reset?
