So, a zipwire suspended over the jump, to which you clip a long rope attached to a spring loaded coil in a backpack which you wear.
So if it all goes pear shaped you slap a button on your chest and it instantly reels in a load of rope preventing you hitting the ground and you swing to a standstill nice and safely.
