I am looking for online language course that teach to a proper syllabus but still offer some flexibility. Something that teaches proper grammar rather than just learning some holiday phrases. I would have liked to have done the open university courses, but they are now so expensive they are really a last option. I am quite fortunate in being able to find people to speak to in the languages I want to learn, and if required supplement with a few private lessons.
Anyone have recommendations.

What language do you want to learn?
Ive heard good things about Udemy.com and everyone loves rosettastone.
