Today is update my CV day. Joy. When I say update I mean start from scratch as my last one is lost in the mists of time back on a Windows 1995 machine when I last needed a CV
Lots of websites come up in google with apparently downloadable word templates but when you start they helpfully provide a series of online forms for you to enter the data into and then it assembles into a word document to download. As opposed to just downloading a blank template as I was expecting.
This is just a data harvesting exercise isn't it? Or am I being cynical?
I guess I could stop being lazy and start from scratch myself.
There's one in the templates in ms word ?
I'd try monster jobs website etc as they probably have templates / guides.
FWIW i've been convinced by a recruitment agent that limiting your CV to 2 pages is unnessessary.
From my experience most job agencies transpose your CV into their own template so unless you’re approaching companies reverently just make a nice smart word document without any fancy formatting.
