I have a project starting soon whereby I'd like 3 or more remote PC's to have the ability to upload only to a single OneDrive (or similar) account. Possible?

Support says no, but in Google drive you can set only certain folders to sync so each local machine would only sync (upload and hold) its folder and the central one would have everything not sure if that is in one drive.

That sounds a little tricky. A one drive folder that you can only upload to you wouldn't be able to read. It sounds like you are trying to so some sort of version control or management

Can you describe better what it's you are trying to do, eg are you trying to prevent people editing or deleting stuff once it is there?

Yep, stop deleting certainly.

The remote PCs would be creating approx 700 files per day that would all be images in PDF format.
I need to get those images onto my system on a daily basis so that I can do a little work on them before they're immediately uploaded to my clients' system via sftp.
The files are very important and so I want minimal access to them before I upload them.
My theory is to set the OneDrive/Dropbox/Google Drive app to automatically upload from each remote PC to the cloud drive from where I can download them. I want them sitting in the Cloud from the shortest time possible really.

Then do it properly....
Are they creating these files automatically or are people doing it?
If you are creating PDF images (?scans) then they are going to get big fast so what is your process for removing the remote copies? How do you know you are cleaning up what is there etc. or are you just going to fill drives?
Whats your backup locally if the link dies?

I'd guess you need to configure your PDF creation to upload a file, check it's complete and confirm etc. as one process so maybe a cloud doc store isn't the best way.

If you are an office365 user I think you can create a shared folder that they can drop the files in. Then set a Microsoft flow to move them out of that folder into one that only you have access to as soon as they are dropped in.
