... or anyone with an ounce more knowledge about tablets than me, which isn't difficult!

Is this Samsung Galaxy Tablet from Tesco, with a bargin price...

http://www.tesco.com/direct/samsung-galaxy-tablet-7-32gb-wifi-3g/215-9176.prd?skuId=215-9176

The same as this one in this review...

http://www.stuff.tv/review/samsung-galaxy-tab-77

From what I can see the spec looks the same, but the price on the Tesco website looks too good to be true - is the one on the Tesco website perhaps an earlier model?

Thanks

The review was written nearly a year ago. Might explain the price difference.

and the one on Tesco was previously £529, which ties in with what the review says about it being overpriced.

It's an oldish version of Android, if that matters?

Having Jellybean on my phone, I wouldn't go with any other version of Android. It's soooo good. Makes Ice Cream Sandwich seem like it's written by monkeys.

This.

Installed Jellybean on my Nexus as soon as it was released. Like a different operating system rather than an evolution.

Iirc, there's a Tab 7 and a Tab 7.7, two different devices.

interesting, i thought jellybean was just a polished up ics, hence it being 4.1, rather than 5.0.

I'm on my nexus and while it's great, my wife's Samsung tab2 10 is perfectly fine to use.

Do you really need 3g? Do you already have a smartphone as many will do a hotspot which allows you to create a wifi signal that a tablet can then use.
