sold an item (phone) privately and its paid for by pp. recieved and verified by buyer. buyer raises a dispute with pp before talking to be after she decides its not what he is after because she says it has a mark on it she say wasnt on the photo. she says she has not used it but I believe she has.
takes an age to sort but finally done.
awaiting item to be returned now.
question: if the item has been used by her in the interim can I raise my own dispute and what is the likely outcome (apart from a headache)

I've said it before and ill say it again. PayPal are not remotely Interested in you as the seller other than to take their cut. They couldn't care less if you're out of pocket. So long as they don't upset the buyers. Assuming you get it back and it is your phone (check the imei number) then I'd relist it and move on. Trying to get any recourse from them will just lead to headaches.
