Coffee and red wine has taken its toll on my (not so) pearly whites. I'm looking at whitening products but am not sure what is good and what will make my teeth disintegrate.
I've got a top top dental hygiene regime apart from the colour.
Can anyone give me any advice as to what I could use to get my gravestones whiter.
Cheers

Don't gargle with bleach, gargle with white enamel paint!

chances are your teeth are well within 'normal' levels of discoloration and as long as they are healthy / sound I wouldn't particularly be seeking a major overhaul.

I'd suggest a whitening toothpaste as a first resort

hot acid gargling will remove all unsightly enamel from your teeth

(keep some hot bleach handy to neutralise the acid if it stings)

* sorry, just seen johndoh's note about not gargling bleach. Guess we'll have to think again as you wouldn't want to use the acid without that to hand

I’m a dentist, not sure if any of the above are.....
I’d suggest a visit to Hygienist/dentist for a clean first, I get a lot of staining from red wine and coffee, whitening toothpaste has little effect but a good professional clean helps.
At that point if you still wish the teeth whiter then carbamide peroxide whitening in a tray supplied by a dentist
Careful what you google
Some excellent advice on this site

I like my coffee and red wine. My hygienist said to simply have a glass of water after consuming both.
