have we done the topic of mahoosive spiders invading the house at this time of year?
Just spotted one clip clopping across the living room floor, I swear blind it was the size of Shergar.
I would post up a pic if I wasn't such a fearty, currently holding a large rolled up paper to stun it with.

Insects have gone mad here too - loads of massive spiders, mozzies, moths, etc. Most unsettling.

Year of the insects and spiders, stacks all over the house, on it, in it! I used to pick them up to put them outside and then a common House spider bit me two years ago, hand swelled up, touch more wary now! But saw one of the Raft spiders last weekend on the common next to Woodbury, that is a bad boy, told they can catch fish! Daughter's quote "no spider in the UK should have that much power". Fortunately they don't like houses..
Haven't seen many spiders around the house but I saw a centipede in my bedroom that was about 4 inches long, that shook me up at bit!
