When I was younger I used to ride a lot of BMX, and I spent all my money on petrol to visit jump spots and skateparks rather than on cool "will be retro in the future" clothes. So, my new resolution this year is to buy better quality t-shits and keep them for years rather than cheap H&M one that last month... which leads me onto...

there used to be a really nice shirt, i think it was grey with 41:30 printed on the front, like an alarm clock or something. It might have been howies but i can't find it anywhere. Any ideas who made it? Or any pictures so i can mock up a copy?

was probably planning on wearing them until they fall apart. was just reflecting on the fox t shirt i'm wearing. Bought in New York in 2003, (for $12). still perfect shape, still quite smart. just a better investment.

I think life is better spent paying for cheap tshirts and expensive experiences.

4130 is a steel alloy (chrome moly) - I suspect that may be a link?

was it Village Idiot? they had a lot of similar designs, ie bar code with 'x-up 360' written as the code, and the old 'King of Spades' dirt jump design.

Fair enough, I've got Duffer tees that are 10+ years old, totally battered, but still look good

I regularly ride in a Rox T-shirt from about 10 years ago. Washes clean every time.

Get a design app
Knock up the design (do it from memory, doesn't have to be a carbon copy)
Print onto transfer paper
Iron onto a good quality t-shirt

Yes I had a beige one, a bar across the chest with '4130' reversed out of it...? It's not quite as the OP - 41:30 as red LED alarm clock figures would be quite cool, and cryptic ;o)

Go for it! I missed out on the Dirty Habit 'Can't Ride for Shit' one, so I'm going to press my own.
