As title really. How long will a spare tyre last?
The spare is inside the boot space, and is unused. It's probably the OE fitted tyre on an X plate car...

Doesn't sound like a problem to me. I'm sure an old tyre will be fine sitting in there.

If it's always been in the boot it'll be fine for a long time, if it's been used for long periods then it will have suffered uv degrading.
If there are is no visible cracking of the rubber it should be fine.
