[Closed] Old Android tablet as a photo frame

Have an old tablet currently used as a kitchen TV/recipe thingy.
Any app suggestions to turn it in to a photo frame when it's not in use? The built in Daydream app would be ideal, but it's limited in one key respect- no timer. So, it's on when charging, which is fine, but I'd prefer something that can be set to run a slideshow if the tablet is idle during waking hours, but reverts to just being off at night.

Not keen on the concept of anything frustrating!
I'm a bear of very little brain, and complicated stuff confuses me!

What happens if your ‘special interest’ photos show on it? I suggest formatting it first
