I hope that photo wasn't taken by the driver, the angle suggests it might be, which is a bit naughty.

Personalised plate? That could be one of hundreds of self-awareness lacking STWers.

Nope, 'fraid not Miss Marple, photo taken by the passenger.

I'm not sure my wife understood why it was important to get the photo though.

Yep - defo a Singletrackworlder.

Heated wing mirrors, I assume?

Oh how the other half....

Reminded me of a Viz Top Tip - AUDI DRIVERS. Save money on wing mirrors by simply getting close enough to use the ones on the car in front.

Perhaps they're big fans of the other STW, and feel the need to express that? You know..... The soapy one.

I mean.... who isnt?

Not me - but a B8 A4 3.0tdi Q is actually top of my wishlist for my next car - even if it means pissing off 'proper' mountain bikers keeping it oh-so-real in their £30k vans made by the same people...

White T36 VW van at Chopwell today. Santa Cruz sticker in window, 'MTB' were the last 3 digits of the plate.

Can only imagine a quiver of Bronson weapons were being Gnarred down Powerline.

I was referring to teethgrinders post. I didn't notice he mentioned the colour of the van (even though it's the first word of his post 😆 ) I know someone with a blue van with MTB on the plate and she rides a Santa Cruz

I saw an Audi A4 similar to that with a blue Cotic Solaris on the roof the other day. I instantly though "someone on STW"?

Didn't get a photo though, so it didn't happen. 😉

Meanwhile on another drifting off the thread, why do some bikers advertised they own nice bikes with stickers on their vans /cars? To me it ups the risks of having your garage/shed/van screwed by local scroats!
As for Audis, it's only A3 drivers that are Arsehats......every single bit of bad driving over the Christmas period I witnessed involved one.

If it ever overtakes then don't under any circumstances overtake it later otherwise you'll be flamed in a an STW thread.

My old W123 barge can only really overtake on an autobahn and with a really good run up. A bit like me when riding! 😀

What's a T36? I know someone who has a white T5 with MTB on the plate...

I was wondering if it was a T5, but sure the badge on the back said T36. Looked very new and had black/anthracite alloys. Santa Cruz sticker in nearside rear window.

Yes it's a T5, T36 refers to the fully laden weight - 3600kg. The other common variant is a T28 which all up can weigh 2800kg.

Whilst I don't subscribe to all the paranoia about risk of theft I do agree with this!

Houns- I think I have seen that van at the Mega a few years ago.

I saw at the Commonwealth Games in Manchester a Seat Leon with P5YLO as the number plate. They must have been mad keen on mediocre forks.
