What's the going rate for installation of a new oil boiler? Nothing special about the install, One out, One in. Apparently he'll be done in a day.

would expect it to be 800-1000 quid inc - commissioning and oftec notifications and certs dependant on your location.

Just check you don't fall fowl of the changing standards since your last one was fitted. can be challenging to retrofit to modern standards which they are obligated to do particularly balanced condensing flu's and proximity to openings.

We were quoted £1100 installation for a straight swap and £1500 installation for moving from an internal to an external boiler.  WB Heatsalve for all.  That's in Wiltshire/South Cots and in 2023.   I managed to get the old boiler running again so never took them up on it.

Oil is usually an easy job even if you have to modify the pipes.  The issue is often the weight of the things which means 2 people.  Mine is 185kg!

Ours was for a couple of years back and I think we paid similar to both above for an almost straight swap
