Thanks for the wood chopping ideas on a thread a while ago.
Got organized and constructed a temporary effort at the weekend and then rattled through my collection of cord for next year.
Marvelous fun it was and so much easier.
8 metal poles in a 4x2 pattern with 4 off cuts of sleep at the base to keep the cord off the ground and give the saw somewhere to drop through.
I even got temporary brownie points from the Mrs for making a lot of wood disappear from the front garden to the storage bins. :O(
Cheers
Tim

His vanity search will pick this up. Hopefully he won't bang his oversized head on a doorframe in his rush to get to a keyboard.

Fair play on *reported's* but please do explain "heightist thread?"

😀

WAY too dark and wet for pics. And it's TEMPORARY and therefore really not up to the standards you'd expect LORD Mcmoonter.

Pics tomorrow but no laughing.
No idea what Stoner looks like. Misery? Really? Not got that image of him but I guess I only look at certain threads, mainly about wood.
Mcmoonter. Seeing your garden, wood store and wood burners makes you a LORD in my book. In a good way. Live the dream. Rolls for a tool box???? Good work 😀

Some say a Saskwatch has been spotted in the Malverns. And it has learned to ride a bike. 😯

Luke - do you live the dream of being a MOD or have they (stw towers) finally realized you're on here 24/7 and given you some power?

I've just thought of a great game Stoner and Stoner Jr Jr can play (but it involves a RealLife name so I'm not sure I can say it 🙁 )

Considering that stoner and boris flashheart are both here, there is a distinct lack of swearing which I do not understand.

I guess STW's very own Bullingdon Club has been put on the naughty step?

I have tried, unsuccessfully, to find an offensive yet amusing picture of asterix to add to this meat beat.

Could someone with superior interned skills please oblige?

Thanks awfully.

I'm not sure that I'm looking forward to seeing your wood and comparing your wood to Stoner's wood.

Must admit I am a little curious though....

Timbur.

Do you put any tarp over the front of your log store to keep the rain out or leave it exposed?

Exposed. It needs air to season. The tarp was moved from the garden as it was covering some of the cord I cut. I'm not very tidy in the back garden as it's a mess so the tarp was throw behind the shed once the wood was stacked.
