Track No 1 on the first album (sorry, LP) I ever bought - I'll always remember the look on my Dad's face when I put it on the gramophone 😆
I always remember my dad coming home with a box of T Rex singles and 3 albums, The Slider, Electric Warrior & Ride a White Swan (the guitar part of Elemental Child still sounds amazing).

never seems to feature in anyone's list of greatest guitarists.
I used to spend many Saturday afternoons listening to Tyrannosaurus Rex on Top Gear, whilst getting my bike ready for a race or club run the following day.
They were all esoteric then, before Bolan & John Peel fell out.
