At long flipping well last, I have enough pennies scraped up and I collect my new machine in a couple of weeks AND we now have purpose built trails in NI. Awesome!

How long will it take me to get confident on the bike again?

May I ask what you've been doing for the last 5 years?

Welcome back to the world of riding. I was off the bike this summer but am now doing shortish rides. Much like before

Now you riding again you might like to use the "bike forum". It doesn't matter much but you might as well now your riding again ๐Ÿ˜‰

All the best. Assuming you weren't forced out by an accident you'll be confident in no time. Fitness may take longer. If it was an accident thats harder to judge

The last 5 years, two of them being fat and three of them being a Les Mills fanatic. Fitness is great, probably better than it was before when all I was doing was MTBing

Pepple no longer refer to bikes as 'steeds'.

It's a bit shite...
