Hi all,

Bit of an odd one; most of the sockets in our flat have stopped working. One of the rooms seems to be fine, as well as one socket in the kitchen, but all others are down. Boiler, fridge/freezer, cooker hood etc don't work. Lights do work.
Fuse box hasnt tripped.

Scottish power says it's not their problem as power is getting to the flat.

There is a pretty big building site across the road, not sure if that's related.

a. Any ideas what might be up?

b. Any recommendations for electricians in Edinburgh?

Cheers, Duane.

Flatmate (who owns flat) remembered there was a second fuse box 😛

I was about to suggest there would be another ring or fuse box. Learnt this the hard way when I turned the power off and drilled into a wall with a spur in it. Blew me off the ladder-second fuse box hidden in the cupboard
