Any aquariums near you, need to check they have jellyfish of course;)

If you photos internet should have a few, I've seen Moon jellyfish whilst kayaking off Scotland, no use to you now but your next holiday maybe!

There you are, my advice is when sea kayaking and you take photos of lions mane jellyfish with your hand in the water, the stingy bits are longer than you think and are painful and long lasting.

It’s the wrong time of year for jellyfish in the North Sea. You’ll get the odd stray, but nothing like you see in the summer. The Deep is probably your best bet. They’ll likely have a column with a load of moons as they’re easy to get going in captivity. Doubt they’ll have anything more exciting.

Sea life Scarborough is an alternative, but it’s firmly filed under the “touristy rip off stinky small aquarium” section in my head - even with a pile of bogof vouchers from cornflakes.

Best display from below was at Oregon coast aquarium. IMG_6511.jpegIMG_6513.jpegIMG_6515.jpegIMG_2014.jpegIMG_2016.jpeg

Don't know if any of these are useful? I took them whilst on holiday in Cornwall about 10 years ago and had completely forgotten about them until seeing this.

I can't help with actual jellyfish but here's a splendid display John Lewis had some years ago.

BTW - if it's textiles then finding fabric etc that really capture the essence of an object made from jelly, then I'd say that is both a challenge and the recipe for something really interesting 🙂

Good luck

You can buy liquid latex from places like Hobbycraft but it's available more cheaply/in larger containers as a mortar plasticiser in jewsons, screwfix etc. (I forget which brand/product name as it annoyingly doesn't say 'latex' on the bottle)

Jelly Fish are of course also available in the sweet aisle

AI, make a photorealistic picture of a jellyfish.

Put a real jellyfish in a barrel of water - take a photo of it - then drink the barrel of water whilst giving a tonne of money to trump, then get sacked for pretty much the same outcome 🙂

you don't actually have to make the image and post it 🙂 we're sentient humans and just writing the words means we can make the picture in our own heads

Just take any AI prompt and put the word 'image' in front of it when speaking to humans.
