Seen in one of the supermarket recipe leaflets, I thought 'why not?', more out of hope than expectation.

But haggis lasagne actually tastes pretty decent!

Feral food: Microwaved lasagne, cut into strips and wrapped in cheap white bread.

Random food: Good white bread, fried egg, lettuce and cheese (thanks random French lady that didn't understand concept of matching underwear)

Pizza.

Yes, that popular pan-fried lamb & cheese jalapeno pizza, except not on any pizza menu in the country served as a burger.

pan-fried

As opposed to spoon, or whisk, fried presumeably? Apologies, pet hate.... Along with oven-roasted (rather than fridge roasted, obvs).

Back to the op, carrots with a splash of orange juice...

Tom, you want to get over to Halifax, "hand cut chips" are all the rage!

People say 'pan fried' to make it sound posh, because 'fried' sounds common.

Not if it's triple fried chips, 'cos they are super posh.

Better than the ones made in a chipper.

Bear, Halifax? That's where they make 'hand made' frames isn't it? 😉

Handcut chips refers to proper homemade chips though. I am with you on some of the other one though.

Pan fried not deep fried or stir fried? Got nothing for oven roasted though.

Triple cooked.
They are only fried twice, after either boiling or steaming.

Chocolate spread and cheese is a match made in heaven. Works best with Cheddars or crumbly whites (Cheshire, Lancashire et cetera).

Every day's a school day.

Better than the ones made in a chipper.

Why? "Hand-cut" equates in many places to be 6 Stonehenge sized slabs of potato, stacked in a jenga style, that have no taste-resemblance to a chip all!

Junky,
I once asked for an egg butty, the egg was dropped into the chip frier, the white wrapped round the yolk like a parcel. The effing thing exploded when I bit into it, spraying me and my nice white shirt with egg yolk and hot fat.

mmmmmmmm danger food
