Anyone see this mini-series? I actually thought it was quite good. Not much of a telly fan bar the odd prog here and there, but this was actually really good to watch.

Well done BBC (for a change)

It was OK, kept me coming back, but I was a bit dissapointed with it myself. Some good action, and the Danny character was great.

It all seemed a little rushed though, would have been better over a few more episodes.

Thought that it was pretty powerful, Occupation that is not Terry's crotch. Very bleak ending.

Nice to see quality drama and good acting instead of reality brain death TV.
Won't do much for the Army's recruitment campaign though.

yep on iplayer. Very good, thought Nesbit and Graham were both excellent.

Stephen Graham starting to look a bit typecast in this type of role but he does the "wee hardcase on the edge" very well. Like in "This is England".

the lo-budget production that was rushed really shows though and it would have been better with 1-2 more episodes.

good drama, and whilst it was fairly obvious what was going to happen to the doctor, it was still shocking when it did. agree that it needed another couple of episodes - it was never clear how much time was passing which made it difficult to get into the characters.

Steven Graham's character very close to the reality of some Private Security Employees. Not so much in the manic drugs/drink way, but the "let's at least now make some serious cash" attitude of some ex squaddies.

Excellent stuff, I thought. Kept me guessing, too.

I'd agree that it could have done with being a bit longer. It felt a bit shoe-horned into the three episodes. Needed a bit of breathing room.

Quite a novelty for me, cuz I'm usually annoyed at how padded out TV dramas are and that they'd be better running for half as long!

reminded me of some of the lads i know still in iraq but to be fair they are loaded and im not anymore ;-( nearly went out there a few months back to pay a chunk of mortgage off but fire brigade quashed that idea due to manning ;-(

as for the series the main thing that let it down was the adverts for it. it kept showing the three of them clearly at a funeral do which didnt happen til the end so it was obvious all three survived (particularly annoying at the end of part two when the lad was taken hostage and then shown in a pub as a taster of part three ) and as soon as the young lad went out there you knew he was gonna bite the bullet

Wasn't as good as Warriors, though.

Graham is about to play Al Capone in an upcoming film.
