What an amazing family, I was fully prepared to hate the 'chavvy scum' but no...inspirational people, young and old.
I did feel for the son in law squashed into the back of the minibus to France...
Fair play to them, clearly good parents and the children seem to love it! Also got to say I didn't think £162 per week extra in benefit is much?
Own business, work their nuts off, all kids spoke nicely, seemed respectful. One big unit. If only some of the "middle class" parents brought their one special child up so well!
Would any of you like to have been in the next caravan to them in France.
Definitely. Reckon I could have easily integrated my 3 in there without anyone noticing, giving me a week off.
There was one moment when they arrived in France and the dad asked where one of the kids was - I though they had left him behind!
I have an African customer who comes to Manchester every second year with his wife, six kids, two friends and the maid, eleven of them in total so I have to hire a big 12 seater and drive them around, which is fun and actually a bit boring on the road because characteristically of Africans as soon as you set off up the M6 for Windermere they all fall asleep, even the baby. I sometimes wonder what scams I could work with 11 Africans unconscious in a bus.

This.
Hard to find fault. But the question why wasn't really answered.
I wonder how many kids their kids will have?
Seemed really good people with happy kids.

Brilliant!
Great parents, totally committed and prepared to have more! I thought it was a very uplifting portrait of an extremely functional family.
