[Closed] Non-delivery of goods - what are my options?

Last month I ordered a game from hmv.com

The day before they went into liquidation, I got an email from them to say the item had been despatched - it actually says your order's in the post - but as yet it hasn't arrived. We didn't get any mail during the snow but deliveries have been fine this week.

I realise on-line credit card purchases are protected but the item was less than £100 and predictably hmv's administrators Deloitte seem to have more important things to do than investigate a missing game.

Are there any other options or do I just write it off?

Go via your CC company. They should refund you I think

Don't know but I'm in the same position as yourself, I ordered two things off hmv.com and got the emails saying they had both been dispatched a couple of days before they went into administraion but neither of them have arrived yet. I've had a couple of looks through their website but can't see anyway of getting in contact with them so I think I'm just going to go into the store next week and see if they can sort something out.
