Love the army surplus stuff you can get, £35 type tops and trousers, unbelievable value however I feel a bit if a tit doing a bit if gardening, fencing, walking the mutt etc in full, head to toe, dpm pattern kit. Has anyone found some goretex plain green trousers (and possibly a jacket too, but can live with one half camo!) anywhere?

Not army - but RAF goretex is cheap and blue and not camouflage.

Theres some bits of goretex ex-police stuff about - the german police goretex actually looks pretty suave. Not all police goretex is about being waterproof though. I've got a set of goretex police overalls for the workshop - but their molotov proof rather than rain proof, I wear them for welding.

Camos trendy an fashionable ...how many shorts are made in it.

Tbh I wear my dessert stuff when's its real bad and there's very rarely anyone around....but best waterproof stuff ever.

I've got a tactical vest for when I used to go running up the Brecons in desert camo but tbh no ones ever took any notice in the pub, takes the army camelbak as well and has a usefull hidden holster for your niner.

You can find some Dutch or German over trousers in green. Much better than the British stuff as they have braces and full length zips.

RAF or Navy would/may sort you out. Reasonably cheap too.

Not Goretex, and really too hot for spring-autumn wear, but very comfy, being heavy cotton with three-quarter lining, and dead cheap:

I've got two pairs that I wear during the winter for work and general outdoor walking and the like. They take some time for rain to soak through, so great for damp, drizzly sort of days.
The M84 jackets are superb too, very soft, great as an over-jacket on cold windy days with jeans. Being Danish, quality is outstanding.
The camo pattern is much nicer than DPM, too.
