My Nokia 5800 has started to lock-up when making calls. The call goes OK but when I go to hang up the screen is blank, all three indicator lights are on and the only way to clear it is to remove the battery and then power it back up.
Anyone had similar problems and know of a fix?
OS and software are up to date. I'm on Vodafone and my daughter's on Orange does the same thing. 😥
how long have you had it? i had a very similar but not identical issue with mine last week - about 3 months old - and when i rang vodafone about it they basically immediately said, "ok we'll send you a new one today". sounds like it's a common issue with older ones. the replacement's fine, and arrived the next day.

I've had mine for about 3 months as well so maybe its a production issue.
