I appreciate we are not all into muscle cars but for every day around town duties this ticks boxes.
How would a 1.6 fair, 4 up on the motorway. Slow lane cruising or not much different to our current 1.8 mondeo?

We took ours to France fully loaded with kids, all the gear and roof box.It would sit at 80 ok but would have been more comfortable with a 6th gear. The only problem is the fuel economy seemed to drop off quite a lot, we used to get an average of about high 30's most of the time. On that trip, at speed, it dipped into high 20's.
