Are these any good for backing up existing DS games so when jnr loses his Star Wars game we can avoid hissy fits?
Next question - where is the best place to get one from?
Ta
*backing up* 😀
Here's what a mate sent me when I asked him:
few links for you.
This is the manufacturer of the card.
Go here for the card. You can buy it in various guises but I use DSTT. R4 has had some issues. I recommend DSTT Without Retail Package. You can buy from here packaged with Micro SD card but it may be cheaper to buy them from ebuyer. Check both. Beware of some other suppliers. There are at least 6 copies in the market of the DSTT and they don't work. I know I got 2!! The cards I got from these guys were genuine.

Go here for the memory chips (4GB Max). You don't need a reader for every chip so if buying more, choose one without reader but no bigger than 4GB.

Go here for the games.
Ah I see, backing up

i have a "backup" too.
cant complain at all.
fits about 40 games onto a 2gb card.
the only problem, is choosing from the list, what to play when you boot it up.
🙂
thanx a lot for the info - will check the sites out
why is everyone writing backing up in italics?
Because people dont "back up" on r4 ds cards?!!?!!? I guess you are just kidding though....

Oh, maybe not then....sorry but as far as i know (well everyone I know that has one) they use them to "access" DS games off tinternet, (check out the rom sites). BTW I have neither a DS or any type of R4 gizmo....but I know someone who does....
