So got nintendo DS a few yeas ago as a pressie for Xmas maybe 3 years ago.
Used it for about a year and then it wouldn't recognise when you put a game cartridge in and still doesn't
Any suggestions of what the problem might be and how to solve.

Bad news mate - MsDwarf who used to sell consoles for a living says it sounds like you've bollixed up the internal connectors for the game cartridge and your machine is ****ed 😐
