Anyone know what loch that was on Nigel Slater's programme tonight? Had what looked like a ruined fort or something next to it or on it? He had been filming in Carrbridge but for the sake of telly I guess it could be anywhere in Scotland.

Wasn't loch an eilein, looked to be a walled fort, and the surroundings were more open with low hills and less trees

I pretty sure its Lochindorb.

Its a bit north of Carrbridge. It kinda goes without saying but its a brilliant place like the rest of the area in the Cairngorms and north.

Love the place.

Lochindorb, that's it, thanks muchly Millcar. Never seen it before and been up there loads, and must have cycled by it. Reckon we'll pay it a visit next time we're up there
