It’s total fantasy, they won’t want to pay the billion quids and you can’t just order one on Amazon warfare and it turn up tomorrow it’s something that takes years even from a known design it’s unlikely to be delivered in their 5 year term.
Let alone the illegalities and general push back they will get from other countries.

Ypou're not seeing the bigger picture... You get the small boats that they cross over on, then use _those_ boats with RN crews to stop the other small boats. Every time you stop a new boat, you have ANOTHER boat you can crew with RN to stop MOAR small boats.

Scouts was a weird thing, one minute your learning knife safety and the next your throwing them between peoples legs.
We used to have races involving tying chairs to poles and running it around the block with someone sat in the chair ,you soon learned who could tie the best knots,it’s not actually a bad way to put theory into practice as on the odd occasion the thing fell apart giving much to the merriment of the person on the chair.
