Looks like there are 22 candidates standing FFS.

Why are the Monster Raving Loony party standing up three candidates? It's almost like they aren't taking this seriously!
What a collection of candidates, dear God
there are 34 candidates standing in the Binface By-election , farages name will be halfway diwn, Binface 3rd
Farage has turned it into a circus
assuming he wons there will almost certainly be another one on a tew months time when the standards committee reports
I'm voting for Farage. He's a jolly good chap and will be ensuring our kind are well looked after. I salute you Nigel my dear fellow!

I am sure it really is 15d chess from him and he didnt call the byelection in a petulant tantrum about the media finally starting to challenge him properly.
The protect the wildlife candidate (one dressed as a fox in makerfield) has decided not to stand since he agrees it will be a circus.

Apt username finally gets a valid outing after 3years…..that’s a long game you’ve played to perfection, well done 😀
These necro accounts that sit there for years saying nothing, then post a low level troll comment fascinate me.
It's like they've been in some sort of statis tank then are unfrozen by Musk once every 50 years to post on here.
Stand down Winter Soldier, stand down, your job is done.😁
I'm interested in the Morris v Morris match up.
It’ll be a minor victory
In some positive news - for us in Manchester anyway - Reform have apparently given up on the mayoral election and diverted all their resources (whatever they are?) to bail out the man-frog in Clacton instead. They’ve done this as all the polling in Greater Manchester is showing them a distant third behind Labour and the Greens.
We currrently have a local Reform councillor calling out our Labour MP for spreading false news.
This false news is to do with the Cornish language being banned by Reform on election leaflets by their own press release - Labour have called this our. The Reform councillor is saying it never happened. The comments are interesting.
It’ll be a minor victory
Congratulations sir - nicely done! I expect the subtlety of this one may escape our younger viewers. 😂
reform lost 2 council By-elections last night in....... Thurrock
over on twitter the fash are having a right strop about it
Id love to think its a Binface portent
His social media FB poster is still working hard pushing out the daily hate 🙂
Read one and your doomed, I even had one of the other hate numpties spewing it on my FB feed , either none of my friends actually posts anymore or the algorithms just gone a bit pants.
It throws the red meat out every 4 hours,Iranian terrorists on the boats now.
Pro tip: Firefox and FB Purity. Sandbox the living shit out of your FB feed and take out the FB delivered crap.
I’ve just seen the latest polling for Manchester Mayoral elections and Reform are nowhere. I feel proud of my city because we’re showing Farage and the #+*s around him that here’s no place for him here
**** off back to Clacton (orwherever you spend your time) to spend the next few weeks campaigning against a bloke dressed as a bin
Someone called Durham Pestcontrol posted this on Facebook earlier, made me chuckle quite a lot..

So the times has evidence from the Reform treasurer at the time that farage was planning to get back into politics when he took that bribe/gift , blowing up his story about being 'out of politics ' at the time (which isn't even an excuse under the rules!)
Also makes it quite likely that he owes tax on it too, a lot of tax!
Tice might be in trouble too as Reform repairs a lot of money to his personal account Esther then his company one.
Inconvenient when a "witch hunt" actually finds a witch I suppose. 😁
Edit: Anyone read why the Reform treasurer of the time has helped spill the beans on this?
I'd love to think he's getting in there early to avoid a potential criminal conviction which means these allegations really could be trouble for Farage, Tice and Reform...
So the times has evidence
That I'm fairly sure they say on and waited for Farage to tie himself into a lie about. Which pleases me.
might be another by-election on the horizon
Im not sure tricky dicky has the charisma to beat binface

Tice is being investigated.
Richard Tice investigated by parliamentary standards watchdog - BBC News
If he steps down to avoid scrutiny, and the bin wins in Clacton, who will stand against him?
Zippy von Rainbow would have been a good option if he hadn't just died.
Now I'm confused... I thought Tice was ultimately a rich donor himself, buying his place in the "party" and his candidacy to be an MP? Is it turtles all the way up?
Don't look at any of that dodgy funding nonsense, look at this completely unworkable and ridiculous fantasy policy we've just dreamt up instead

That's a rehash of something already put forward last year using the word "gunboats" because nothing gets the Daily Wail brigade aroused more than the thought of "gunboats" machine-gunning innocent people out on the sea (so long as those people are brown / forrin).
I think such actions can also be described as "murder" and "piracy" and fall foul of minor things like international law. Also not convinced that the Navy has a spare fleet of gunboats or indeed the psychopath crew you'd need to actually commit murder and piracy.
But it allows the Reform voters to live out all their WW2 fantasies.
They interviewed a senior Royal Navy officer on Radio 4 this morning who pointed out that a frigate costs a billion quid, so questioned wether having a few billion quids worth of vessels sat in the channel would be a sensible idea, given that they're all quite busy seeing off Russian submarines and stuff at the moment.
The whole thing is ridiculous but like you said, it'll get the Daily Mail readers living out their 'Brittania Rules the Waves' dreams
Ypou're not seeing the bigger picture... You get the small boats that they cross over on, then use _those_ boats with RN crews to stop the other small boats. Every time you stop a new boat, you have ANOTHER boat you can crew with RN to stop MOAR small boats.
That feels like an exponential growth in the ability to stop small boats. Before long you'd have an ARMADA of small boats and crews and could hire them out to Spain or Italy to help with theior problems, reducing the defecit at the same time.
GENIUS!!
Willard for PM!
Thats the kind of blue sky thinking we need!
How does quite a big warship turn away a small, and unstable rubber boat, without accidentally killing a lot of the people on it? Or is that the plan?
When Priti Patel suggested using the Navy when she was a minister the RN were quite clear they would refuse to comply with illegal orders that were in breach of maritime rules.
And all boat migrants sorted within a Trumpian two weeks.
Sending the Royal Marines to land on French beaches, FFS!

You just have to BELIEVE!
Reform said they'll stop the boats (the ones that dramatically increased in number when Farage took us out of the EU and invalidated the Dublin Regulation at a stroke), why question the picky little details?!
More belief.
In related news, I did find it amusing when Reform took over Derbyshire County Council with at least a couple of councillors going on about boats, presumably having failed to realise that Derbyshire is about as far from the sea as you can get.
Looks like Farage & Lowe are going at it again.
