Going to a wedding there next week with some time to kill beforehand...any recommendations in and around that area please folks?
Not really for the amazing garden, but my favourite 2 pubs in that corner of the world are

It isn't.
I was thinking of the Old Brewery, which is a Youngs pub.
The Cutty Sark on Ballast Quay overlooks the river.
Lovely buildings and location (my daughter was at Uni in fhe area).
Pubs ... always found them a bit so-so. Trafalgar Tavern on the river and there is "craft beer" place the Cutty Sark side.
+1 to the Union. Really friendly and a great beer selection.
