Hello,I've had Nexus 7 for a few days and so far I'm really impressed.

It came with some credit for Google Play,so what apps do you reckon are worth getting?

Yeah, wish I knew iPlayer wouldn't work. Its not a deal breaker or owt but would have been nice.

Strange topic for my first post - I feel like it should be at least slightly bike related.

iplayer does work on the nexus7/jelly bean now - although by the looks of the reviews it isn't quite up to scratch yet.

Firefox, so you can use flash (google it).

A widget so that you can control what is using the battery more easily (gps, wireless, screen, auto update etc.) just look on the play store for one.

The one that means you can use the camers ๐Ÿ™

Navfree if you aer going to use it as a satnav.

GTA3 ๐Ÿ™‚

Google Play is still telling me it is not compatible with the Asus Nexus 7? I do have BBC media player installed but not yet figured out how it works. Can someone tell me how they have managed to get i player working?

Nexus Media Importer. Let's you stream movies and music from an external USB flash drive ๐Ÿ™‚ You'll need a USB OTG cable, dead cheap on Amazon.

Brilliant. Thanks for that!
Could have done with it a month ago!
Been on a long trip; blue toothing photos to the Nexus to then put them on my blog. A proper pain.
