Full zip hoodies are good. I have a lovely Norse Projects one that cost about £90 (yup!).

I'm mid 40's and wear a hoodie every day and everywhere I go unless it's too hot in which case just a t-shirt. Not worn a shirt in any casual setting for about 15 years.

Paired with jeans and either Timberland boots, casual "trainers" (not actual sports shoes) or Converse All Stars. I don't care what anyone thinks.... I value my comfort over everything else.

Mr Addidas who makes a nice range of daps.

Chuffin’ heck! Daps, there’s a word I haven’t heard in general usage since I was at school, my mum used to use it as well.
