[Closed] New sim card, what do i need to do to keep all my info on phone intact?

I'm not too IT aware.

Just received my Giffgaff sim card to replace the TMobile one in my HTC DesireS. I have a lot of info, notes, pictures, contacts on my phone that I don't want to loose. Any tips for ensuring I don't loose it all? Do I need to move it all over to the SD card?
