"Oi You" or perhaps "B%@*&!d Dog" - that's what ours are called.

But maybe Penny?

Awwwww . . . . female dog names are tricky, as there needs to be hard consonants in there, in order to be clearly audible in the event that you have to give an emergency command/recall/reprimand in a noisy environment or at a distance. For example, 'Coda' is a lot more audible and crisp than 'Sasha'.

That's probably not much help, but is something to bear in mind when choosing. And whatever you do don't let the children choose something daft that you'll regret in six years time!

The pup is gorgeous, hope you have loads of fun together!

How about 'Mystic' as she is doing amazing elevating things with the white and yellow balls,

Or 'Elle'

Called our 'Toffee' as in 'Chewy Toffee', (but she has been pretty good in not living up to that prefix for the last three years)

The inmates are a bit restless this morning; it's almost as if they know something is going on. 😯

Many of you won't be aware but Mr and Mrs Chipps' lovely poodle was called Clover and very recently passed away - so that would actually be quite nice.

Has to be Daisy, my god daughter is called Daisy or Diz the wizz as we often call her, she's a vet and has a white lab called "Stop"

I think that was "stop" destroying everything 😯

Call it MyFace.

That way, when she's lagging behind you and you need to call her you can yell across the park, "Come on..."

We let the children name her... 'Skipper' ... (Barbie's sister apparently)..

The old dog is being surprisingly tolerant..
