HTC One X then, when it lands in the UK (~5th of next month is the word on the street)

Out of the androids you list, toss up between the s2 and XE, both basically the same. Xe feels a bit nicer in the hand, but has sense...this could be a + or -.... screen's better on the S2 IMO.

Personally, I don't like Samsung's take on Android or their lack of support. Coming from a Desire (as I did), the Sensation is the logical choice. Don't pay extra for the XE, it's the same phone.

That said, others regard the S2 highly. /shrug

32gb sd micro card on my sensation, how much more do you want? Just added ICS 4.03 to it. ๐Ÿ˜‰

now pondering flashing sensation xe beats audio rom @ 1.5ghz

My mates just had the Sensation XE with beats Audio. Difficult to see how its better than my Desire HD, just newer. Can you get the Desire HD at a decent price nowadays, had mine 18months now. Would happily buy it again.
That HTC One X looks good though...

They're a lot better on support these days, I've have two Android updates to my Galaxy S in under a year, another one to come soon I believe.

Galaxy S3 out next month in UK apparently.

128mb is poo right enough

3gb internal on sensation, and 32gb micro sd card. never had an issue with lack of storage.

Just done that. Can't say as I notice any difference on the audio (though I've not used it in anger), definitely feels snappier though. Though, that might just be ICS.

I'd have a galaxy note, unless anyone else makes a big ol' screen that I can write on
