I bought a phone off a company on eBay December 10th.
It no longer takes a charge so have contacted seller. Just in case they try to fob me off where do I stand?
Before I bought it I asked about such a scenario and they said all warranties are carried out by Samsung uk.
As I paid the company for the phone surely it's for them to sort.
I paid through PayPal using my credit card which I have paid the bill for.

Its for them to sort, but sometimes its easier for you to go through Samsung directly, depends on what sort of procedures samsung got in place for consumers.

As above, it's up to them to sort

Keep an eye on the time you have left to raise a PP dispute, if - whilst their sorting it, that cut off gets close, raise a dispute as a place holder

You'd have to check - 49 days seems familiar

Panic over. Lady at Samsung told me to "rub it with a tooth brush darling". It worked!

Fluff in your contracts?

There's got to be a joke there somewhere...
Pocket lint and fluff can be a real pain, I used to regularly check the 30-pin dock on my iPods and phone, and the amount of stuff that gets jammed in there is amazing, it's a wonder the damn things ever get charged. I happened to look into the connector on my iPhone 5 last night, and though there was something in there; hooked a lump of fluff about 3mm thick out with a needle!
Pays to regularly check connectors on anything that goes in your pocket.

The blurb did say it was bristling with the latest features.
