(On a related note - is that a caravan? If so, I am not sure that 20kg of ebike that far behind the axle is going to do much in the handling stakes. I have always been taught to load central, and towing RIB's etc with engine still on can be 'enlightening' as to how it affects handling.)

Must admit I questioned its ability to tear off the back of the caravan, aren't they just fibreglass and fluff?

Think the basket may cause issues at full fork travel, catapulting out your gala pie and Pimms.

I'm sure there are battens on the inside of the vehicle. Many caravans and motorhomes have the exterior alu strips installed at the factory so you can add your accessory afterwards
