Having a sniff around at sports bikes and feel the urge for a BMW 1000rr sport. I like the idea of being hated for having a both BMW [i]and [/i] riding a motorcycle 🙂
Anybody got one? Any feedback, opinions, poorly informed speculation?
MAte just sold his. Found it bland and whilst a rocket ship a bit too 'plain' to love.
He's moved onto a Paginale. Personally i'm not keen on the BMW. Saying that, i hate his Pagniale too, i may buy a 1098 next weekend though myself.

It is mate yes, it thrashes everything in test rides and write-ups.
Doesn't mean I or he would indeed wanna own one.
I think he paid £15k for his with 900 miles on the clocks.
I'm looking at a 1098 with 6500 on clocks for £7500.
