....coming [s]2007[/s] now apparently?
Edit: Just a facelift by the looks of things ๐ก
Whoah! What happened there!
Have I slipped through a vortex in the space-time continuum to an alternate reality where everything else is the same but STW IS ALL DIFFERENT ?
What recipe for eating own shorts?
This is the new forum. Where have you been?
you're greyer, idave
Have you not tried the 'New forum' link up there?
I think it's alright. Maybe not as big a step forward as I'd have expected though and I don't really think the new font is an improvement. I do prefer the colour scheme though.
The 'block user' option seems interesting though...
is that Times new roman up there? ^^ (Chat forum & title), have we gone back to 1985?????
EDIT: does seem clicky clicky faster though?
Is this what happens when people all start agreeing with TJ?

If everyone agreed with TJ this forum would cease. But just like flowers aren't going to get wiped out by people picking them, this isn't going to happen.POSTED 3 DAYS AGO # REPORT-POST
It has begun......
I'm going to come back as a man.
One minute...
is that Times new roman up there?
Well yes if that's your system font. I'm using default serif and san-serif fonts so really it derpends on your machine. If your an elder PC yes you will get TNR if you're Android you get Droid fonts.
New PC here and it's horrid TNR. Is everything black and white for everyone else with a 10 years ago feel?
work PC, so no idea, how/where do I change? TNR is insulting to my eyeballz
Edit: yeah black and white/grey here to.
....but it is faster..........
I like it
ummm. I can't see any difference whatsoever โ
Reminded me of this...
TNR on Windoze wiv Chrome. Sorry admin.

It's monochrome-arific!

It's very err.. grey. And not in a good way?
ah, ctrl-refresh. Ummm, at least it isn't comic sans I suppose

Yup
You now all live in my black and white world!
Firefox = Times New Roman
IE = Some other skinny hard to read font, similar to TNR
Even though it seems they have only changed to the colour to black and white and done something with the fonts, I'm finding it harder to scan the forum! ๐ฏ
After a solid 30 seconds of use, I have concluded that the old one is much better. 8)
Whooooooooah there, what's just happened? Have the STW chaps forgotten to pay their Colour Forum license?
This looks very sombre and doomladen.
Pssst... check the home page too. It's gone a bit BBC!

I know it's your birthday and all but regardless, that is the post of the day already ๐
like it Jamie - and maybe the background on the buttons at the top of the page too?
Is there a point to the "// +" in the bottom left corner?
(Firefox 11.0, if that makes any difference)
Very cool, though. No I'll go further, cold and uninviting IMO.
Edit: just the greyness, like the front and newsy layout.
my black and white world!
it's all shades of grey from where I'm sat ๐
YUCK, can we have the old one back now please?
Home page looks OK, but the forum is absolutely awful and it looks even worse on my Andriod phone.
And is the copyright C meant to be halfway up the K on the title?
Middleclasswhineycookbags!
The forum now looks far less obvious on a work PC, can only be a good thing.
Saddam deserves it. I know Bush is unpopular, but... oh, wait.
What Kingtut said. Homepage - yay. Forum - nay.
I don't like change.
At least it's more legible for the visually-impaired among us.
I assumed it was a CSS bug. ๐
Personally, I completely love it. In fact,I think I am in love with it. It's simply delightful and has changed my life completely.
I guess this chrome-free metro-esque look is all the rage now, but the TNR really does jar.
If your an elder PC yes you will get TNR if you're Android you get Droid fonts.
I get something remarkably similar to TNR on iOS 5.1 as well, so it's not a PC related thing.
Edit: on WebOS it looks the same as it used to - what's going on?
I did not notice at first it had changed, not enough tea this morining I guess....
Looks perfect to me - on Android and Chrome
seems identical on my android (using opera) and ie8 - including the use of TNR. can't say it looks very appealing but it seems to work fine.
