I really liked the last album.
This album doesn't seem as instant, but it's definitely more adventurous. Will give it another go later. I really admire the Beasties, they've maintained the quality throughout their career.

Stand out on first listen, but can't hear anything too weak. Reminds me of both Spearhead and UNKLE (original incarnation) in places without really sounding anything like either - this is a good thing.
Still don't think they'll ever do anything quite as good as Sabotage though.

no plans at the moment; MCA is still battling/getting over throat cancer.
I have to say, the version of Too Many Rappers on the album isn't as good as the single version released a while back. Prefer the Max Tannone remix too.
