My niece has a netbook with windows CE installed.

She has a E170 T mobile usb dongle, when its inserted it asks for the driver, does anyoneknow if this dongles are supported by windows CE ?

Cheers

pretty unlikely.

The Windows CE units arent sold as being dongle ready.

Her best bet would be to get an unlocked/Three MiFI dongle and use that with the built in wifi card that the CE netbooks usually have.

I use one with a WiFi only Android pad and it works very well indeed. Also means I can just hand it to Mrs S if she needs something when on the road with her laptop. Or even if we both need to share a connection when out in the camper van

Admirable - that looks good, would I be right in thinking that you would simply connect the USB dongle into that above device, then the Windows CE netbook would connect to the above wireless device, correct ? ๐Ÿ˜‰
