just lifted a load of baby turnips from the garden to make way for summer veg

any good recipe ideas from the stw massive?

other than soup

with a name like donald i can't help imagining you waving your pipe at me over your half and a nip whilst gruffly indicating that there's only the one way to cook neeps

Turnip tops are edible, and probably the best bit of a turnip.
Neeps are not turnips.
Turnips are white with a touch of purple on them.
Swedes, neeps are yellow and go well with haggis.

neep refers to both yellow (swede) and white turnip in general.

anyway, couldn't cook them anyway as they are effectively just a lump of wood with a 2mm thick layer of turnip flesh on them ๐Ÿ™

already eaten the tops ๐Ÿ™‚

had our sweetheart cabbage instead which was AWESOMELY tasty
