I am down in Somerset and after a van to use for moving 4 dogs around and when not working moving our bikes and diving kit. Really need a Vito size van and have around £1000 to spend.
Any suggestions on what to look out for?

Vivaro/Traffic/the same thing that Nissan branded. I drove one for about 9 months and would go fr one again if I was looking for a van. Great things, you should be able to get a 53-55 plate for a grand from some places.
Either that of a second hand Vito, although a newer one might be out of your price range. I think 51 plate were going for that sort of money.
