I am in a postion where my Job has dictated my leave (at least for this year) to me, so the two weeks off I have this summer are the last two weeks of July, those also being the school hols of course. Both me and Mrs Flashman are in desperate need of a holiday, somewhere in the UK, for a week or less, for less than £600. Don't mind where, don't mind what, just would prefer not to be overrun with crowds. Any ideas or recommendations?
A bit of riding near by would always be nice too.

Great place, Salcombe. Riding is Dartmoor a little way away and along the coast and what not, all very beautiful.
Applecross Scotland - we had 4 nights in a camping hut last year - electricity, heating, all you need really.
