Hired a narrowboat for a few days relaxing cruising on the llangollen Canal. We have a few days spare after the cruise and are looking to take our time heading back to Perthshire so are looking for touristy things to do (no kids).
I'm thinking a few hours in Chester, OH would probably like to see the Gormley installation on the beach at Sefton, maybe follow Hadrian's wall over to the east coast, then the coast road up by Edinburgh.
Nothing fixed - any suggestions?

Are the Gormley installations still up the Leith? I can feel a wee theme coming on!!
