Seems you can now get Red Bull TV on a NOW TV box......
Saves me having to watch the World Cup DH on the tablet tomorrow! Watching the XC now and its streaming nicely.
Just enough time to run down to Currys and get it plugged in before tomorrow for those without smart TVs (although I am probably in the minority!).
Happy Harry........
Yip, same with Amazon fire stick, gave a little cheers when I found it had Red Bull TV.
Also available on Apple TV.
Or just on the web http://www.redbull.tv/videos/event-stream-568/cross-country-finals-men
No internet until the end of next week, damn you EE!
Ace!
Although now it seems I cannot watch the XC, just circles me back to the menu screen......
Any suggestions?
The XC "replay" videos don't seem to be up yet - the live feed worked but the replay isn't there yet.
I just connect the laptop to the telly via a HDMI lead.
Yep..... finally figured out it had finished when I powered the laptop up.
Anyhows, will be prepared for tomorrow afternoon!
Thank you, thank you thank you. 🙂
Good call.. old Now TV box dragged out of the back of the cupboard!
Go Pro was there but now its gone... sad face 🙁
So how does NowTV work? You buy the box and it has certain channels/apps? Is there a subscription charge?
Yes Mosey, I bought one last weekend from Tesco for £13 with a three month entertainment pass. This gives you access to Sky1/Atlantic and a dozen other channels. You could have a months movies pass or a Sky sports package if you wanted. Plug it in, connect to WiFi and away you go, after the three months is up you pay £6.99 per month. Cancel whenever you want. You get access to box sets of tv shows too.
ah ok, cheers
Little tip if you cancel they usually offer 3 months at a reduced rate and if your on the entertainment pass the catch up doesn't cover everything on those channels but most things are available on the Live TV option.
Thanks for this info, didn't realise redbull TV was on NOWtv
Now TV tip: When your free period is over, go through the process of quitting online, get past the screen that says "are you sure you want to miss all these great shows?", click yes, and you'll be offered an automatic discount of around 33-50%.
I've done this three times now, works with movies and entertainment packs.
